How to get leads like CRAZY!!!
Today, I’m going to share something huge with you. How many of you are building an email list? And if so, How are the opt-ins coming? Is Your list growing? I am going to show you how to get leads in droves.
Most likely not or you wouldn’t even be here reading this post. Well. I’m going to explain and show you (with video), the very best practices of getting more targeted people on your email list. Getting Leads from your Blog post is really quite easy. Once you understand some basic fundamentals.

How to Build a list, basics!
First Things first, you need an email management platform or more commonly known as an Autoresponder.
This is not that difficult of a process. There are a lot of good options out there for Autoresponders. I personally use the Direct Mail App from Apple Store on my iMac. I like it best cause it gives me complete control over my email marketing right from my desktop; without ever having to pull up my google browser and visit a site that houses my email list.
If you’re new to email marketing, I suggest one of the online email marketing platforms, like Aweber, Get Response, MailChimp and the list goes on. There are many options to chose from. Just make sure you are doing your research before you just randomly choose one. I have tried several over the years and I promise you, they are not all equal.
If I was to pick the best one for New Marketers, it’s Aweber. Their autoresponder is easy to use with a lot of options. Plus, they have an extensive training program on how to properly use their email marketing platform. Another great thing about Aweber, is they integrate with pretty much every landing page builder out there.

Develop a lead magnet
Now, that You have an autoresponder all set up. It’s time to get those leads. But Sean, How the heck do I do That?
Great question, There are many practices out there on how to get leads. Here some examples of some different ways to try and get leads. You got Solo Ads, PPC ads, and posting on social media. Not to mention, there are all those products on the market today claiming to get you more traffic (I don’t suggest these). If You get leads with these methods. It’s a guarantee that they will not be a very targeted audience. Most Likely, you have a big non-responsive email list.
Me Personally, I want an email list of like-minded people who are interested in what content I’m putting out, Just Saying.
What I’m going to show you is how to get targeted leads right from your blog post.
So, “What is a lead magnet?”, you ask.
Your Juicy Lead Magnet Bait
It is something you offer that is most likely desired by the targeted audience you going after. A give away, free gift, bonus offer, or whatever you want to call it. I like to give away free gifts that have value to those that would most likely read what I’m putting Down.
So for instance, if your site is about Fishing. You might give away a pamphlet on how to properly tie a hook on a line. Or maybe you do a blog about cooking. You could give away free recipes. I think you see my point. Just make sure your offer has value to the community you are targeting.
How To Create a Lead Magnet Bait
Make sure you create something that is free and relevant to what your audience wants. Now, of course, it goes without saying. Once they opt-in to your email list and you deliver your free offer. That you can’t provide a sales funnel at your free offer.
Here is what I Mean by a sales funnel. Your Lead Magnet drives your readers to your opt-in form. Then after the new subscriber confirms the email of joining your list (Which you tell them to do once they have entered their email and clicked submit your opt-in form.) Once they click the confirmation link in their email. You send them to your free gift download page. Just Right underneath your free gift download area. Have another area that is one of your affiliates offers that directly relates to the topic of the free gift or what your blog post is about.

This does two things very successfully.
1. You will get the email list you have been craving. One with subscribers that will be more engaging in what you have to offer.
2. You will generate more sales, likes, followers, or whatever your main objective is.

My Lead Capture Page Sucks!
This generally is the case, most lead capture pages are not personal. They are just full of marketing gimmicks. I believe that putting yourself out there and being honest with your potential subscribers is the best method to building a responsive email list. But, many of you have no clue how to even start to build a lead capture page. Most, autoresponder services online have a lead capture page builder that comes with their service. They vary in style and but most are a complete snooze fest.
I like to have the power to put whatever I want on my lead pages. I use a nice little software called Landing Page Monkey. This little inexpensive landing page builder is great for new and veteran marketers. Not only can I build stunning landing pages. It comes with its own tracking system. So, I can see my impressions and submits to my landing page.

What do I do once I start Getting subscribers?
Dang Sean, That’s another great question!
Well, you start sending out those emails. The amount and frequency depend on you and the needs of your audience. I personally only do a weekly newsletter, that only link back to my most current blog post from that week.
If are going to promote an offer in your email. Just make sure you keep it to just one offer at a time. I suggest that you should flood peoples email boxes with nothing but promotions. Add quality, and substance for your subscribers. Make it so they will engage your email by enticing them with good value. Some post should just be a free product in your niches as an ebook or video. Your subscribers will love you for it.
Use A BLOG to get leads!
If you don’t know how to blog or own a website, yet. You can get a free education and free websites here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Make sure your blog and email list work in tandem.
Here is what I mean. Send a teaser email with a link back to your blog. You want your list to come back and see what you have out that’s new. I promise they will appreciate this more than just sending emails trying to sell them something all the time. Your blog post, if done right, with good content, and a lead magnet inserted into your post. Will give you a greater chance to get more conversions. Then to just outright flood email boxes like a spammer throwing your offer down there throat.
That is a sure fire way to have people unsubscribe from your list in droves.
Remember to engage your audience and build a relationship
Make sure you’re giving your readers solid, actionable tips. Don’t just be a crappy online salesman, with your hair slicked back in your cheap corduroy suit. Just Deliver information in a friendly, conversational style. Treat your audience like their humans, not cash machines, cause that’s the best way to lose your audience. Not a good way of how to get leads and keep them.
